Town of bygone times, legends and myths
The town of Trogir was founded by Greek colonists from the island of Vis in the 3rd century BC. Its greatest value is its monument heritage, the old town with dense urban architecture. It stands out with the aesthetic values of individual buildings that go beyond the framework of the Adriatic construction. Of “must see” sights there is the Cathedral with the Portal of Master Radovan, the greatest European sculptor of the Middle Ages. The town of Trogir simply fascinates the visitors with cultural and historical monuments, narrow streets and great artworks. Each stone is a historical inscription, a myth, a legend... One whole epoch, and to explore it in detail, you’d need at least three lives.
