We offer day trips to nearby Mali Ston bay where our family has grown oysters for generations and since 1980, has run our family restaurant Bota Šare.
Sailing in a boat, enjoy the untouched natural beauty of the protected eco system of Mali Ston bay, along with the sun and the sea in which many small islets "are bathing". The entire
experience also has an educational character since we gladly share our knowledge and experience about the process of cultivating oysters with our guests. Learn how to gather oysters
and open them in the midst of an oyster farm and enjoy tasting it.
Boat trip duration is 45 minute.
The program begins with a boat trip in the Mali Ston bay and includes visit to a shellfish farm with tasting and a presentation of the cultivation and its history:
• Welcoming guests at seafront in Mali Ston
• Boarding the ship
• Welcome drink (traditional brandy) & traditional homemade sweets (sugared orange peel and sugared almond)
• Tour to shellfish farm with a presentation of the cultivation and its history
• Oyster and mussel tasting on the boat with a glass of house wine* & mineral water (tasting includes 2 oysters and 1 mussel)
*Instead of wine it can be order sparkling wine. In this case, the price of the trip remains the same and tasting includes 3 oysters and the price of sparkling wine is calculated per consumption.
**In case of bad wether, when the boat can not sail we do degustation and presentation in the restaurant.
